My favorite xmas decorations are..

the old figured Christmas candles. They remind me of my childhood Christmas'. My mom had a whole collection of them and unfortunately they were discarded so now I am always on the lookout for pieces to rebuild a new collection! They just make me smile!

A Wicked-ly good time

Yesterday, I went with my mom and daughter to see the musical Wicked. I tried years ago to get tickets and was not able and this time when they came back I vowed to get tickets no matter what!
I have read the Wicked trilogy, and cried like a baby after the first one because the story touched me so much. So of course, I ended the show by crying again! Are there any other Wicked fans out there? If you are not I urge you to read one of the books or see the musical, you will not be disappointed!

Antique show finds

Sunday was my day to go to the monthly Olde Stark Antique Fair, one of my favorite shows. I managed to find these amazing photos and jewelry pieces A bag of mica flakes and this sweet little church

and one of my best finds ever, a deck of 175 playing cards, all dirty and grungy just like I like them. I think I even let out a squeal when I first saw them!!
